Selden's Cumulus section, which was developed as a lightweight (0.9kg/m) section specifically for non-trapeze boats, is now available. This section combines light weight with a 'dynamic' gust response for performance through the range of conditions.
The rig was used to immediate success by David Wade to win the 2004 National Championships, combining the Cumulus/P&B rig package to best effect.
Standard mast includes tenon heel plug, exit slots for halyards, Tee backplates for shrouds, tee backplate for forestay, with jib box supplied but not fitted for 2:1 jib halyard option. Spreaders are fully adjustable. Pole lift is fixed eye and spinnaker sheave is ball bearing. Mast is supplied with draw lines fitted for rapid attachment of rigging.
