Whatever The Weather Your Boat Is Protected
Manufactured by the most established and respected cover manufacturer in the market, 35+ years of experience and quailty. Made using only the very best materials, each cover is carefully tailored to the highest standard. Every cover is fitted with adjustable draw strings, soft webbing belly bands, plus velcro and buckle fastenings to give it a snug fit.
Flat Top Cover
Easy to fit and can be used with the mast up or down. The main halyard attachment webbing ring helps the cover shed water.
For the ultimate in weather proofing, the overboom style ensures that water will not collect in the cover and allows air to circulate under the cover. You can’t use this cover when trailing.
Trailing covers are top covers without openings for masts and shrouds etc. These considerably reduce wind drag when towing.
Nylon undercovers protect the hull of the boat from knocks and scratches, particularly when trailing. Made from UK sourced 7oz nylon. This material is very tough and is specially coated to reduce shrinkage.
NEW AquaPlus: Strong and durable fabric for all top covers
AquaPlus is a replacement material for traditional Cotton Polyester fabric’s that “breaths”, allowing moist air out of your dinghy. AquaPlus has a lot of advantages:-
- It is strong and lightweight
- It does not shrink or stretch
- The colour will not fade. Guaranteed for 5 years
- It is very abrasive resistant
- It looks as new for considerably longer than any other breathable cloth
- We are now recommending this in preference to Cotton Polyester
PVC Polyester: 680 gms - For all top covers.
Polyester woven fabric coated both sides with PVC. This has UV stabilizer and fungicide in it. Standard color is blue unless stated.
Cotton Polyester: 420gms:- For all top covers.
Woven filaments of cotton and polyester spun together and passed through a silicon bath. Because it is not an impervious coating like PVC, water moisture can pass though giving the term “breathable”, ideally suited for wooden boats. Standard color is blue unless stated.
Acrylic: - Mainly used for yacht mainsail covers in UK.
Acrylic is a woven fabric that is “synthetic cotton”, it is stable, does not shrink, very resistant against UV light and allows moisture to pass through it. Ideally suited for dinghy covers in hot sunny climates. It is not as strong against chafe as cotton/polyester and should not be used for towing.
Coated Polyester: - For under covers only.
Woven fabric coated one side with polyurethane, light, strong and will not shrink Standard colour is Red unless stated
