Fleece Lined Yachting Garments
Ocean jackets are well equipped to deal with the most unforgiving conditions. They have high fleece lined collars that fasten just under the nose, with an optional panel that can reach just under the eyes. These coats tend to be long in design with a reinforced panel on the seat area and a highly visible hood. Fleece lined pockets and reflective strips are also commonplace.

Hard Wearing Marine Trousers
Highly durable ocean trousers are also extremely tough and have reinforced seat and knee patches for added comfort and protection. Smocks are also a great way of protecting crew members who may be working on deck at the front of the vessel. These fully sealed tops keep the wearer dry from waves and spray.

Gore-tex Ocean Sailing Jackets
This type of yachting gear is generally made of a three layer construction, consisting of a lining fabric, a Gore-tex membrane and an outer shell. Gore-tex is present in most ocean gear and is universally recognised as the most durable waterproof and breathable fabric available.

Any moisture from inside the jacket can pass through, whilst sea and rainwater can’t permeate the surface. This is achieved thanks to tiny microscopic holes found all over the membrane; large enough to allow water vapour out, but much too small to allow water droplets in.
